On the 26 th of the May, after the signed declaration between China and Midle, East Europe region countries, Chinese delegation visited our company. The guests got acquainted with the activities, production and export opportunities of UAB ,,Litamilk“. They saw the production lines, laboratory, warehouse as well. On the 25th of May signed declaration the parties commited to strengthen their cooperation and to seek innovative solutions in the fields of agriculture and trade. Therefore, it is gratifying that some of the guests see the possibilities of cooperation with our company and want to meet again to sit at the negotiating table.

In March JSC “Litamilk” signed a cooperation contract with the Lithuanian University of Health. Under this agreement, the institutions have committed themselves to cooperate in vocational information and guidance, refresher training, and in the field of practical training of students. Also we will exchange good practices that will help in an improving the quality of our company’s existing products like milk replaces for calves and lambs, and helping to create new products, which could be competitive with analogical products manufactured by other countries. One of the first provided plans is scientific and research work about the quality of feed produced by us and the nutritional benefits for calves in Lithuanian farms.

From the 5th till 9th of March passed the training to become CowSignals master. Among 12 participats from Ireland, UK, France, Netherlands, Ghana the employee of our company Tautvydas Švedas (Feed division manager, Veterianarian) was the first representative from Lithuania, who took participation in training center in Netherlands.

The aim of 4 days training was the become a better advisor, presenter and trainer. This is achieving by on the one hand understanding cows better and on the other hand by understanding people better. The participants of the training were learning from the cows, the trainer, the farmers and each other.

The half time of the training intented on CowSignals: know the basic needs of the cow, learn to recognize early disease signals and understand the concepts of health, management, housing, feed and economics. Was used the look-think-act principle and the CowSignals Diamond.

The other half time focused on PeopleSignals: how to motivate farmers to change. It teached the participants to become a good facilitator and learned them to ask the right questions and show good examples.

The employee of JSC „Litamilk“ was licensed to do CowSignals trainings and/or advisories himself.
